YDS exam dates: the current YDS and e-YDS calendar
Facts last checked against official sources on October 11, 2026.
Short answer
The paper YDS is held twice a year (spring and autumn) and e-YDS almost every month; ÖSYM usually publishes the next year’s calendar at the end of the year. This page always shows the current year’s calendar and the next sitting: the sittings left in 2026 are YDS/2 (22 November) and the November and December e-YDS sessions; the 2027 calendar is not out yet.

How to read the calendar
- The next-sitting card is worked out from today; the application deadline shows while it has not passed.
- In the results column, sittings already announced show the actual date, the others the date planned in ÖSYM’s calendar.
- ÖSYM can change the calendar; check the official one before you apply.
When do applications open?
Paper YDS applications open about 6–7 weeks before the exam and run for 8–9 days; the late application day comes one day later at a 50% higher fee. e-YDS applications are short and capped; they can fill on the day they open, so follow ÖSYM’s announcements.
Pages by year
Each year’s full table has its own page (2026 and 2027 YDS dates, in the related questions below); this page always shows the current year. A new calendar is added here on the day it is published.
