Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Use form a binding agreement between you and ELLISEKIZ LLC, 30 North Gould Street, Suite 100, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States (EIN 38-4402067) ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Prepina, you accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Prepina provides English lessons, practice questions, a daily study plan, spaced review, mock exams and AI-assisted feedback on speaking and writing for exams such as YDS, YÖKDİL, IELTS and TOEFL. Prepina is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by ÖSYM, the British Council, IDP, Cambridge, ETS or any other exam owner. Exam names are used only to describe what you can prepare for.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old. You agree to give accurate information, keep your password secret and tell us about any unauthorised use of your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. One person per account; accounts may not be shared or resold.

4. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Prepina for your own learning. All content, software, design and trademarks of the service remain ours or our licensors'.

5. Restrictions

You may not:

• copy, scrape, resell or publicly distribute lessons, questions, mock exams or feedback;
• reverse engineer the service or try to get around access limits, quotas or security;
• use automated tools to create accounts or submit answers;
• use the service in breach of the Acceptable Use Policy or the law.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the recordings, essays and answers you submit. You give us a limited licence to store and process them only to provide the service to you, including sending them to AI providers for assessment. We do not publish your content.

Messages you post in community discussions are shown to other signed-in learners with your name shortened (e.g. Deniz K.); your e-mail address is never shown and discussions are not open to search engines. You give us a limited licence to display your messages for this purpose. You are responsible for what you post.

In the community we act as a hosting provider (Turkish Law No. 5651). We do not review messages in advance; when unlawful or rule-breaking content reaches us through the in-app “Report” button or a notice to hello@prepina.com, we review it and remove access where needed.

7. AI feedback and scores

AI feedback can be wrong or incomplete. Score estimates are practice indicators based on your answers, not official results, and we do not guarantee any result in a real exam. Use your own judgement and, for important decisions, the exam owner’s official materials.

8. Price and paid plans

Prepina is currently free, including the features of the Pro plan, within fair-use limits. If we introduce paid plans, the price, billing period and features will be shown before you buy; paid subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and the Distance Sales Agreement and the Delivery & Refunds Policy will apply to them. We will not charge you without your explicit purchase.

9. Changes to the service

We continuously improve the service and may add, change or remove features or adjust fair-use limits. If a change materially reduces a paid plan you have bought, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or where the law requires it, and will tell you why unless we are not allowed to.

11. Copyright complaints

If you believe material on Prepina infringes your copyright, send a notice to hello@prepina.com identifying the work, the material and its location, your contact details, and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them. We remove infringing material promptly.

12. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50 if you paid nothing. This does not limit liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence or anything that cannot be limited by law.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim before the consumer arbitration committees or courts competent there; for consumers in Türkiye, Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection applies. Before any formal claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will tell you in the app or by e-mail at least 15 days before they take effect; continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new Terms.
